" Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum organizes “12th Partnership and Business Meeting”

The forum organized the 12th Partnership and Business Meeting, attended by more than 250 businessmen from Jordan and Palestine to promote intra-trade and build economic partnerships. The meeting was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Jordan Yakup Gulmaz, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry Fathi Al-Jaghbir, and commercial attachés from the Tunisian, Pakistani, Chinese, and Turkish embassies.

The 12th Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, "Partnership and Business Meeting," was held in Amman, with the participation of over 250 businesspeople from Jordan and Palestine to promote bilateral trade and build economic partnerships.

The meeting was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Jordan, Yakup Gülmez, the Chairman of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, Fathi Jaghbir, and the commercial attachés from the Tunisian, Pakistani, Chinese, and Turkish embassies in the Kingdom.

Jaghbir emphasized the importance of business meetings in strengthening relations between businesspeople and building economic and investment partnerships.

He noted that the Jordanian industrial sector seeks to increase its exports to Palestine by enhancing cooperation with the Palestinian private sector and overcoming the obstacles and challenges imposed by Israel.

Gülmez affirmed Turkey's commitment to increasing investments in Jordan and contributing to the development of the Jordanian and Palestinian industrial sectors.

He stated that Turkish companies are focusing on investing in countries in the region and building partnerships with Turkish businesspeople, pointing out that Jordan has always been a symbol of security and stability, which is an economic advantage. For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Forum, Nazmi Al-Atmeh, stated that the participation of their Palestinian counterparts from the Nablus Business Forum and the Hebron Business Forum primarily strengthens trade exchange between Jordan and Palestine by providing a platform for businesspeople to discuss their companies and businesses and establish a foundation for networking.

He noted the participation of approximately 32 Palestinian companies in the meeting, representing various industrial and commercial sectors, including food, chemicals, furniture, timber, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and vehicle trading.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Nablus Business Forum, Jihad Al-Banna, affirmed that the Forum is a strategic platform for exchanging expertise, building bridges of trust, and opening new horizons for cooperation and joint investment.

He explained that the Forum presents a genuine opportunity to launch new partnerships and enhance cooperation between the private sectors of both countries, providing tangible investment opportunities across various sectors. He considered this cooperation a strategic step towards strengthening regional integration and achieving sustainable development.
