The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum organized a specialized dialogue session with Dr. Hussam Abu Ali, Director General of the Invoicing and Sales System Department, regarding the national invoicing system, as part of its efforts to strengthen communication between the public and private sectors.
 
The dialogue session was held at the Amman Chamber of Industry, with the participation of over 100 businesspeople, including forum members and representatives from Jordanian economic unions and associations.

Dr. Abu Ali provided a detailed explanation of the system's objectives, its economic and regulatory dimensions, and its implementation mechanisms. He emphasized the importance of this system in enhancing transparency, reducing tax evasion, and establishing the principle of tax fairness.
 
The meeting also witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, who raised a number of questions about the system's implementation mechanisms, its challenges, the facilities offered to taxpayers, and the technical support provided by the department.
 
Abu Ali emphasized the Income and Sales Tax Department's commitment to listening to the private sector's perspective in order to develop the national invoicing system and ensure its fair application to all taxpayers across economic establishments.
 
For his part, Nazmi Atmeh, Chairman of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, affirmed that these meetings reflect the Forum's commitment to its role as an active partner in the national economic landscape. This is achieved by providing effective dialogue platforms between decision-makers, business leaders, and investors. He noted that the economic forums held regularly by the Forum address the most prominent challenges and opportunities in the investment environment.

The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum is a Jordanian association established in 2011. It brings together Jordanian business owners in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and strives to enhance cooperation between Jordanian business owners and their counterparts in various countries, serving their interests and contributing to the development of the investment climate in Jordan.
 
The Forum has over 250 members representing more than 800 companies.
