Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum organized an economic seminar entitled “Gold as a Safe Investment Tool in Light of Global Economic Turbulence,” presented by Osama Imseeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Imseeh Jewelry Group.
Event is over.
Imseeh presented an in-depth analysis of gold's status as a key hedge in investment portfolios, especially in light of economic turmoil and global monetary policy volatility.
Imseeh spoke about the importance of gold as a long-term investment and its ability to protect wealth in environments of inflation and interest rate volatility.
He highlighted the historical and renewed relationship between gold and the dollar, how gold interacts with waves of US currency weakness or dollar strength, and the impact this has on investor behavior.
Imseeh also spoke about the trends of central banks around the world, particularly their expansion in increasing their gold reserves in recent years, reflecting an international trend towards strengthening hedging positions and reducing dependence on dollar-linked assets.
The seminar was moderated by Nazmi Atmah, Chairman of the Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum, who emphasized the importance of these economic salons in highlighting current economic issues and their role in educating investors about contemporary financial issues and guiding them towards safer and more sustainable investments. The seminar featured an interactive discussion on the future of gold, the best ways to invest in it, and the difference between gold and related financial instruments.
This economic seminar is part of a series of regular economic events organized by the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, which aims to provide knowledge and economic insights to help businesspeople make informed investment decisions, in addition to consolidating the forum's role as an effective platform for following economic developments that affect the business environment.
