The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum condemned statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding his “Greater Israel” vision, which seeks to annex parts of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, the occupied West Bank, and Egypt to the state of Israel.

The forum said in a press statement issued today that Netanyahu's statements represent a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter, the sovereignty of states, and the right of Arab peoples to their land and history.

The forum recalled the brutal Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, its heinous crimes and the starvation of the Strip's inhabitants, in addition to its repeated attacks on Syria, noting that the Zionist entity is a rogue state that has no place in the region.

The forum expressed its condemnation of Israeli arrogance and Netanyahu's racist statements, pointing to the occupying state's expansionist and settlement intentions.

The forum affirmed its support for His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and stressed that Jordan will remain an impenetrable barrier against any threat to its sovereignty and stability.   Jordan will stay a protective shield for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people's right to an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
