The Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum organized an intra-trade meeting, “Expo Forum for Trade and Business,” attended by the chairmen of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry and a number of members of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Commerce, economic bodies, and local banks.
Thirty exhibiting companies from various commercial, industrial, and service sectors participated in the meeting, which was attended by more than 250 businessmen representing various economic sectors.
The Chairman of the Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum, Nazmi Atma, said that the meeting aimed to promote intra-trade and increase opportunities for joint investments and business ventures between Jordanian businessmen, as well as to exchange experiences and expertise.
He added that the Palestinian Jordanian Business Forum is distinguished by the high volume of bilateral trade among its members, in addition to cooperation between members in the areas of training and the exchange of expertise, experiences, and data.
He emphasized that building commercial partnerships between members and attracting foreign investment are among the most important goals that the forum seeks to achieve.
The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum began its work in 2011 as an independent non-profit association, seeking to serve both the Jordanian and Palestinian economies and strengthen ties of cooperation between Jordanian businessmen and their counterparts in various countries in general, and Palestine in particular.
