Palestinian Jordanian Businessmen Forum Organizes Dialogue Session on Supply Chain Obstacles and Explores Practical Solutions

The Palestinian Jordanian Businessmen Forum organized a dialogue session on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Jordan Chamber of Industry, entitled “Supply Chain Obstacles: Diagnosis and Proposed Solutions.” The session was attended by a number of Forum members, alongside representatives of the Navigation Agents and Maritime Lines Syndicate.

The dialogue addressed the key challenges and obstacles facing supply chains and trade flows, as well as their impact on the smoothness of import and export operations and the efficiency of the private sector. Participants also discussed a range of practical and applicable solutions and proposals aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and facilitating the movement of goods.

Participants emphasized the importance of moving beyond identifying challenges toward developing practical and comprehensive recommendations that can serve as a basis for action and be submitted to the relevant authorities. Such efforts would strengthen partnerships between the private sector and relevant stakeholders, while contributing to the improvement of procedures and the efficiency of the supply chain system.

At the conclusion of the session, it was agreed to establish a specialized committee to prepare a working paper outlining the main challenges, recommendations, and proposed solutions. The paper will subsequently be submitted to the relevant authorities, with follow-up on possible measures to address these challenges.
